Hi! I’m Jamie, a 3rd-gen Rupertite and 2020 grad of OVCMT in Vernon, BC. I’m happy to be at home, working with you to create positive changes in posture and function to optimize how you move and live.
In 2009 I graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy at UBC and practiced as a pharmacist for almost a decade. During this time I also completed over 500 hours of yoga teacher training, found distance running, and made some big lifestyle changes. My background in sport and movement also includes downhill skiing, tap dancing, track & field, volleyball and soccer. In 2018 I made the move to pursue a different profession in health and wellness. Now I can help people in ways I’m much more passionate about.
A proud anatomy nerd, I like to investigate postural distortion, biomechanics and anything that may be causing you pain, injury, or limitation of movement. Through assessment, various massage modalities, plus stretching, strengthening and modifications to your activities of daily living, together we’ll make a plan to address your needs.
In my free time I can be found marathon and triathlon training, hiking, run coaching, drinking coffee and eating pizza.
Book with Sabrina!
Sabrina will out of the office from April 30th to May 24th.
Sabrina recently moved from the Province of Quebec. She has spent the last 5 years practicing and studying over 1300 hours of training in massage and
wellness. Her skills include, but not limited to: Orthotherapy, Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue massage,
and even a dash of Shiatsu training. She is an active member of the Natural Health Practitioners of
Canada, and as such is able to issue reciepts for Orthotherapy treatments. Please check with your
insurance to see if you are covered! However please keep in mind that she is not a registered massage
therapist within British Columbia so if you do not have coverage for Orthotherapy specifically her services
are not covered under benefits, this may change in the future however!
Sabrina is an adventurous and avid world traveler, having worked in many different fields at home in
Canada and abroad. You will often find her running, hiking, swimming or even climbing. She also enjoy Kiteboarding along the Skeena river, and in the winter months you will likely see her with
her skis on or close by. In her youth she competed in national level track and field, and graduated from a
recreational management program. If needs be she can offer her services in English, French or even
Spanish if you’re patient!
